Show Notes

(2:29) Shannon has successfully built and sold two businesses for undisclosed financial terms and she did it by building a repeatable playbook that both she and her acquirers have used, as well as over 100 businesses worldwide.

(16:34) Business partnerships are like marriage, and so before you partner up you need to align your core values, understand your shared end goals, and do all the things you would do if you were married.

(21:42) In case you missed it, Shannon sold her second business, Subserveo, for 60x top line. Her advice to entrepreneurs is to write your magic number down and put it under your monitor so when the time comes, you don’t hesitate to exit.

(36:01) The number one thing in Metronomics that entrepreneurs should take away is a committed leadership team that has the willingness and desire to progress. The rest is really easy.

(46:08) When Shannon sold Subserveo, it was one of the top three deals on Wall Street that year in the mid-market deal category.
